I am still surprised when I am talking about Lush and people have no idea what I am talking about. Because Lush is a pretty big part of my beauty life since more than 6 years, now. So let’s talk once again about Lush and its very famous Christmas shower gel: Snow Fairy.
From my last article, you already know that I am a big fan of Christmas. And, let’s be honest, I am more a conservative Christmas-holic: for me, it’s all about gold and red colors on my Christmas tree, it’s Christmas by the chimney and not on the beach… So, the first time I have heard about the most well-known Christmas shower gel from Lush, I doubted it could suit me: it is not a classic Christmas smell, not at all. It’s a very sweet one, like the one you smell when you open a box full of sweets. I love sweetly smells… but I am more into spices, oranges for Christmas.
Any way, I tried this shower gel and I felt in love with it. It was one of the first time in my life when I was trying a very-smelly shower gel and, believe me, it makes a huge difference in the bathroom. At the minute you start opening the bottle, the smell is everywhere around you, and with you. At the point that the smell stays in the bathroom for hours. (Sadly, once you rinse it, you usually don’t smell it on your skin anymore.)
Honestly, this Snow Fairy shower gel is almost perfect: it washes softly and efficiently your body, it does not leave your skin dry by the end of the shower… but it costs a bit expensive, for sure (the 250mL bottle costs £7.50, you can buy a smaller bottle to try it on, or a bigger one to make it more economical). Personally, I usually buy this product in winter and use it in February / March, when I am tired of spiced smells and I can’t wait for springy ones. You can obviously use it for Christmas… but I have another Lush shower gel to recommend you for this magical time. I will tell you more about it next week!
